Resin Art Workshops - Creating Moments that last

At Purple, our workshops are more than just an introduction to resin art—they are a celebration of creativity, connection, and self-expression. Over the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of hosting a wide range of resin art workshops, thoughtfully curated to offer both artistic inspiration and meaningful experiences.

Whether it's a cozy group of friends discovering a new hobby, a private session to mark a special occasion, or a corporate team-building workshop designed to spark creativity in a professional setting, every workshop at Purple is about Creating Moments.

We’ve had the honour of working with esteemed organizations such as the Ministry of Education (MOE) and Friends of the Museum, alongside numerous private clients and art enthusiasts. These sessions are carefully guided, welcoming participants of all skill levels—from curious beginners to seasoned creatives—and are tailored to ensure everyone walks away with not only a beautiful piece of art but also a sense of joy and accomplishment.

Our workshops explore the full spectrum of functional resin art, allowing participants to choose from:

  • Resin wall clocks

  • Elegant charcuterie boards

  • Serving trays and coaster sets

  • Lazy Susans

Each creation is a reflection of the participant’s own artistic journey—made using premium materials, infused with personality, and meant to be cherished. These aren't just art pieces; they’re practical keepsakes that carry the energy and story of the day they were made.

True to our vision, if our products are about “Crafting Memories,” then our workshops are about “Creating Moments”—intimate, empowering, and joy-filled.

Wings of Art 2025 – A Creative Journey with Purpose

Isha Bhasin, founder of Purple Crafting Memories, was honoured to be selected as one of 60 local artists for Wings of Art, a prestigious SG60 initiative celebrating Singapore’s 60th year of independence through art, community, and compassion.

Wings of Art 2025 brought together 60 talented artists across Singapore to transform classic Barbie dolls into one-of-a-kind art pieces. This heartfelt initiative aimed to raise funds for Singapore Red Cross, supporting underprivileged children through education, essential care, and holistic development.

For this meaningful cause, Isha created Sylen Dawn — not just a Barbie, but a symbol of quiet strength and unapologetic dreams. Sculpted with cement and clay, her robe reflects groundedness and resilience, while her resin and alcohol ink wings, touched with gold, express bold aspirations and inner brilliance. She stands on a druzy geode, rough on the outside but shimmering within — echoing both her story and Isha’s own.

This artwork is a reflection of Isha’s journey — transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary, reusing materials, and telling stories of hidden beauty, strength, and hope.

Her work was showcased at Marina Square from 25 June to 31 July 2025, alongside other artist-transformed dolls. The event drew strong public engagement and community support, with 100% of auction proceeds donated to the Singapore Red Cross.

As a recognition of her contribution, Isha received a Certificate of Appreciation from Mayor Denise Phua — a humbling and memorable moment in her artistic journey.

Sylen Dawn stands as a reminder that even the smallest creations can carry powerful stories.

For Isha, being part of Wings of Art was more than an artistic opportunity — it was a deeply fulfilling experience to create something unique and purposeful, and to support a meaningful cause through her art.

She continues to craft pieces that celebrate resilience, inspire connection, and bring hope — one memory at a time.
